Shana came to Forever
Golden Retrievers in early
1987 from Beth Johnson and
Summit Golden
Retrievers. Shana was our foundation
bitch, our first "show"
dog. Shana is best
described as a ver confident girl always happy and ready to
please. She enjoyed the show ring and after many efforts to
complete her championship and being nicknamed our "Reserve
Queen" Shana never completed her championship. Motherhood
suited her very well. Luckily for us, Shana was bred to
Tristen Ch. Asterling's Go Get M Gangbuster Os and
produced "Cashmere" (Ch. Forever's
One Singular Sensation).
Shana's life was cut
short and she died at the
very young age of 5 years old
after consuming a sewing needle that required surgery and
complications after the surgery took her life. A tragedy of
a lifetime that is still hard to comprehend. Shana was so
special to me and my family in so many ways and she is still
missed today.
